Jesus Wore My Crown Do Yourself A Favor

The True Story Behind the Poem, Heaven or Hell

On September 8th our singing group, John 3:3 Ministry, just left a small church where we just finished singing and praising our lord and Savoir Jesus. At the church service that morning I asked the Pastor and the church to pray for my brother who had cancer.

Leaving the church, we went to the hospital to visit my brother. On our visit at the hospital I got a chance to pray with a few people. At the hospital that day I could see my brother was very sick. He kept saying, "I don't want to die. I just want to go home." He struggled with the thought of dying.

It was a very sad day for me as I visited with my brother and his wife at the hospital. I had the opportunity to witness to my brother and his wife. I asked his wife if she was saved? She said yes, I am going to heaven. Her reply blessed my heart.

Then I asked my brother where he was going when he died? His reply was, "I think I will just go to hell." My heart was breaking at the answer I heard. I turned to his wife and asked if she heard what he said? "Yes, I did" she replied, with her head bowed down. She could not even look me in the eyes. Before my brother passed he suffered very much with the thought of dying.

Hell is a real place for eternity and heaven is a real place for eternity. There will come a time when we all must die. The choice is yours, where will you live when you die?

If you accept the Lord after reading this, please give me call or e-mail. We can pray with you and thank Jesus for saving you.
